Cooking Pasta and Soups with O3 Chia Premium recipes

O3 Chia Premium can be enjoyed with your pasta or soup. Remember that chia seed does not modify odor or taste of food, it does not need to be washed or sanitized, simply add a portion on them. Here are some recipes to inspire you too cook pasta and soups with chia seeds and start enjoying the benefits of chia seeds.

SOUPS AND PASTAS whith CHIA SEEDS
espagueti con ajo, chila y chía

SPAGHETTI WITH GARLIC, PEPPER AND CHIA

Ingredientes:
  • 400gr de spaghetti
  • ½ cup olive oil + ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 garlic tooth
  • 1 arbol pepper
  • 4 tablespoons of O3 Premium Chia
  • 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
Directions:
  1. Cook pasta in wáter with salt.
  2. In a hot pan add oil, garlic, arbol pepper, chia and mix.
  3. Pour the spaghetti into the mix and add salt and parmesan cheese to taste.
  4. Enjoy
Sopa tlaxcala con chía

TLAXCALA SOUP WITH CHIA

Ingredients:
  • 2 chayotes, médium size
  • 1 cup lima beans, peeled
  • 1 cup corn kernels, soft and white
  • 1 chilacayote
  • 1 stalk of epazote
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion and parsley, chopped
  • Onion and parsley, chopped
  • Lemon
  • ½ teaspoon of O3 Premium Chia
Directions:
  1. Peel the chayotes and cut them in cubes. Do the same to the chilacayote.
  2. In a pot, boil wáter, add salt to taste, the stalk of epazote, and the cup of soft corn kernels with fresh lime beans for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the cubes of chayote and chilacayote.
  4. Let it boil for 5-7 minutes
  5. Serve and garnish with chopped onion and parsley, avocado, lemon and half a teaspoon of chia seeds.
Sopa de lima con chía

LIME SOUP

Ingredients:
  • 2 limes
  • 1 orange
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlics
  • 1 lt. chicken broth
  • 8 tomatoes
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 3 tablespoons O3 Premium chia
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 3 tortillas, chopped and fried
Directions:
  1. In a pan, with no oil, fry the onions cut in juliennes and the garlic with peel.
  2. In a taller pan, pour oil and add the onion chopped, pepper in juliennes and the chia seeds. Fry a bit.
  3. Add tomato and cilantro, a pinch of pepper the chicken broth. Let it boil.
  4. Add the zest of lime peel, grapefruit juice, lime juice and onion with the garlic that was frying.
  5. At the end, garnish with the crispy tortilla triangles and enjoy!
Linguine con camarones y chía

LINGUINE WITH SHRIMPS

Ingredients:
  • 500g shrimps, peeled (could be frozen)
  • 250g pasta (a package of linguine or fettuccine)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil, extra virgin
  • 3 tablespoons O3 Premium chia
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1½ teaspoon Rosemary, fresh, chopped
  • 2 garlic teeth, finely chopped
Directions:
  1. Cook pasta following the steps in package (except for the salt and oil).
  2. Three minutes before pasta is cooked, add shrimps.
  3. Once cooked, drain water.
  4. Add condiments, chia, cheese, and mix well.
  5. Enjoy immediately.
Lasagna de carne con chía

MEAT LASAGNA WITH CHIA

Ingredients:
  • 750g ground beef
  • 2 cups peas, precooked
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 potato, small, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons O3 Premium Chia
  • ¼ onion
  • Parsley
  • 550ml tomato sauce
  • 8-10 basil leaves, chopped
  • Cream
  • Manchego cheese, grated
  • A package of lasagna
Directions:
  1. In a skillet cook the beef over medium heat until cooked (If necessary, you can add a little olive oil to prevent it from sticking
  2. Season with garlic salt (to taste) ground pepper. Add onion, carrot, potato, chia, parsley, peas and mix.
  3. Add the tomato sauce and season with basil. Mix.
  4. In a crystal dish, add the pasta and meat forming layers (approx 3)
  5. Garnish with cream and grated cheese
  6. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes (approx. or until cheese is golden
  7. Serve with salad.
Sopa de lenteja con tocino y chía

LENTIL SOUP WITH BACON AND CHIA

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups lentils clean
  • 4 slices of turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 tomato
  • Onion and parsley
  • 1 teaspoon rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons O3 Premium Chia
Directions:
  1. Cook lentils (45min) in a pressure cooker.
  2. Fry the bacon in the pan where the soup will boil.
  3. Once warm, the broth with lentils, pour a cup in the blender. Add the tomatoes, the onion, parsley and the teaspoon of rice flour. Blend.
  4. Blend the remaining lentils.
  5. Serve and garnish with parsley and chia.
